The clever mix of standard RPG adventure with an intriguing football-based storyline and innovative battle system - in the form of tactical stylus-controlled football matches - makes this one of the most unique games not only on 3DS, but on any system right now. If anything Touko was robbed, although there are heavy implications that shes with Tsunami.Īs for Avatars (they actually call it Spirits in the translation, lol), all I remember is Light has Shining Dragon and Shadow has Dark Exodus both for obvious reasons. The humorous character descriptions are what keep me wanting to collect more players while playing.

That appeases some of my anger when I was a kid when Sora was fucked at the end of Digimon 02 becuase his girl ended up with his super cool best friend lol EDIT Wait, he has two different wifes depending on the version lol Who is the purple hair girl I dont remember her from the first game. I had this face:O Justice was finally served in this types of animes. If I'm scouting Gouenji, I'm not gonna use Joe Schmoe in-betweener scout, I'm gonna use Gouenji. My small cousin is a big fan of all the things about the Inazuma games and anime, and he was the one that told me that Nelly was indeed her wife at end.

The fact that there's another player blocking me from achieving my goal is slightly frustrating and will usually end with me despising the middleman scout and, again, getting rid of him. Nothing about these players drives me to use them, since if I'm scouting a player, I'm planning to use said player, not the middleman scout. I usually end up getting rid of them after I'm done with them. In my eyes, these players are equally useless, but now they just happen to be taking up slots on my roster. I didn't mind the lack of incentive for exploration, since once you finish the game you've basically explored everything already, so artificially increasing playtime with useless exploration isn't really all that great of a concept, and to be honest, does anyone really play Inazuma for the exploration?Īs for being incentivised to use other players, I don't really think that's a very common thought process, unfortunately. It gets even worse when you need to recruit one player in order to recruit another, since it doubles the grind.

I prefer being able to get my players quickly so I can use them as much as possible, having to grind out an incredibly rare item for hours is just not appealing to me. I remember having to play against the same team about 15 times just to get a single palpack item which just gets mind-numbingly tedious. The grind is still there for sure, and it's much worse than the previous games imo. See, I'd agree with you if the drop rates for most palpack items weren't so frustratingly low. Inazuma Eleven 3 was even worse, you had to grind boring battles for coins without any guarantee to get them and when you get them it's pure chance if you get the player you want, at that point it isn't fun to get any new characters and with that the incredible amounts of content the game has is ruined even though I want to play all of those many competition routes it's just not fun to do when you can't build up your own team This is way better than how they did it in Inazuma Eleven 1 and 2, there you would just mindlessly grind against the same team for friend points then just type in a name and get the player which didn't feel rewarding at all, in Inazuma Eleven 1 it was even worse since you also had to wait before your search got processed, that combined with a lack of content made it nearly impossible to get a lot of new players during the story and since there were only 2 competiton routes there also wasn't any reason to go scouting after beating Zeus I have to disagree about the palpack system being bad, it actually gives you a reason to explore the world and use characters who you usually wouldn't even have given a second thought and play against many different teams
